After graduating from the Caracas International School of Fashion, Tammy Apostol started her career as an Assistant Designer for Christian Dior (Rori International) in Venezuela before moving to her mother’s home country and attending Marymount University in Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design. There she also took private lessons from French couturier Antoinette Verspoor and broadened her horizon as a Fashion Columnist and Couture Design Assistant. She opened a store on Miami’s Lincoln Road as well as on Palm Beach’s Worth Avenue and a showroom in New York where clients were able to shop for her ready-to-wear designs. Today, Tammy is the Creative Director of TA Couture with an atelier in Miami and serving clients in South Florida and internationally. Tammy also shares her substantial know-how by teaching a few select classes in fashion and accessory design at MIU/Ai and she served as the Regional Director of The Fashion Group International, the largest network of fashion professionals worldwide from 2015-2016.
