Apparel Textile Sourcing Berlin pre-show Intelligence

Welcome to the ATSG (Apparel Textile Sourcing Germany) pre-show report. This report highlights what’s happening during the show, seminars, special events, the latest trends, and innovations.

The day before the show was busy with exhibitors getting set up and prepared for the tradeshow. You can check out the action from the ATSC (Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada) show last month, Day One, Day Two, and Post Show.

ATSG show overview

The ATSG show is a smaller show that brings together a wide selection of quality suppliers in Apparel and textiles. It is an important tradeshow for anyone and everyone in the apparel business to attend. During the show you can check out:

  • A diversity of manufacturers from around the world (China, Bangladesh, and India).
  • Avenue, highlighting top Chinese brands
  • Matchmaking, connecting buyers and suppliers from around the world, brought to you by and
  • Trend area, highlighting the Pantone 2020/21 fall-winter predictions

Special Events

There will be special events held daily throughout the show:

Day One (Wednesday, September 11th)

The opening ceremony of the 1st annual ATSG tradeshow will open on the fashion show stage at 9:30 am.

ATSC (Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada) Opening Ceremony August 2019

Following the opening ceremony, there will be a gathering in the VIP Room for dignitaries and special guests to meet and greet.

Speaker Series

The speaker series will open on the fashion show stage starting at 11:00 am, check out the full speaker Series schedule here.

ATSC Presentation by Julia Hughes

11:00 am – 11:45 am with a presentation about the “Challenges of sourcing for the childrenswear market” presented by Christian Feuer and Stephan Roppel.

11:45 am – 12:30 pm a presentation about “Global Sourcing – Where is the next China” presented by Jeff Streader

1:15 pm – 2:00 pm exploring the possibilities “To be the disruptor or to be disrupted” presented by Wilson Zhu

There will be ongoing presentations throughout the day at 2:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:30 pm and the last speaker will be at 4:15 pm.

Day Two (Thursday, September 12th)

Speaker Series

The speaker series will open on the fashion show stage starting at 11:00 am, check out the full speaker Series schedule here.

11:00 am – 11:45 am Informing you about “Regulations on Corporate Compliance in the German Retail Industry” presented by Sal Khokar and Andrea Breyer.

11:45 am – 12: 30 pm, insights, and intelligence “The World is watching: Sustainability and Retail” presented by Anton Schumann, Corinna Westphalen, and Gerwin Leppink

1:15 pm – 2:00 pm, it is time to “Think Local Go Global: The Art of Launching a Brand in Todays Crowded Market

There will be ongoing presentations throughout the day at 3:00 pm, 3:20 pm, 4:00 pm and the last speaker will be at 4:30 pm.

Fashion Show

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Come check out the future collections on the runway, showcasing talents from Local German Designers, International Brands, and the latest trends from ATSG exhibitors.

Day Three (Friday, September 13th)

This is the last day of the show, so make sure you get to ATSG to check out all exhibitors and special events.

Speaker Series

11:00 am – 11:45 am, “The Importance of Sustainability in the European Fashion Industry” presented by Sal Khokhar, Marc Sidler, and Nikhil Hirdaramani

11:45 am – 12:30 pm, “Challenges and Opportunities in European Retail – A view of the Reemergence of Denim” presented by Julian Groves

1:15 pm – 2:00 pm, “Swimming with the Sharks – the New Consumer” presented by Christian Feuer

The final presentation for the ATSG will be at 2:00 pm.
