Day one – ATSC doing business in style with results

The first day of ATSC (Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada) was a hit with a record number of pre-registered attendees and attendees.  With a strength of exhibitors from China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Peru, and more.

India sponsored free coffee to start your day off on the right foot.

From there, it was time to check out the exhibitors and special events throughout the day.

Opening Ceremony

The show started off with a bang with the ATSC main partners, exhibitors, and VIP’s who graced the stage for the opening ceremonies and ribbon cutting.

Awards and Avenue

The 8 brands highlighting their private label and brand strengths in the Avenue section were recognized for their social responsibility and contribution of $20k in clothing to “Brands of Canada”.

VIP Experience

Following the Opening Ceremony and Awards, everyone moved to the VIP area for photo opportunities with dignitaries from around the world.

Video cameras and media were on hand for in-person interviews.

A great photoshoot opportunity with partners from Mainland China.

As well as individuals from Europe who took time to be photographed in front of the ATS photo banner.

Show style

There was plenty of show style by attendees wearing the latest fashions and showing their love and style for fashion.

Presentations

There was a constant buzz throughout the day on the main stage with presentations.

Below we get to watch Bob Kirke, Executive Director of the Canadian Apparel Federation who kept us abreast of international and local policies.

Julia Hughes also graced the stage with her presence visiting all the way from Washington D.C., to share with us her intelligence on the U.S. marketplace and general business practices.

For all presentations, there was a great crowd that was engaged and asked plenty of intelligent and informative questions.

Pantone Trends

Attendees and exhibitors were checking out the latest trends for Fall/Winter 2020/21.

The chill area beside the fashion show stage had a nice backdrop by Carlin Trends.

Match Making

People were lined up to inquire about Match Making services, there product and business needs.

It was a good first day, we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, August 21st or Wednesday, August 22nd at the show. Make sure to pre-register to speed up the process upon arrival. If needed you can also register at the show.

Happy sourcing from the whole team at ATSC.
