Z. Joe Kulenovic
As Enterprise Florida’s Vice President of International Operations, Z. Joe Kulenovic is responsible for managing Florida’s network of trade and investment promotion offices outside the United States, as well as overseeing efforts to attract foreign direct investment into the state. He previously served as Enterprise Florida’s Chief Economist and head of its Research Department.
Other career highlights include working as the Research Director for public-private partnerships for the US Agency for International Development, and as a consultant to the Inter-American Development Bank and the European Union. Kulenovic also spent about nine years with the World Bank Group, working in or with about three dozen countries in a variety of functional roles. He has published numerous studies, working papers, articles, and blog posts, and has been quoted in various business and scientific publications worldwide.
Kulenovic holds a Master’s degree in Economics and International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University – The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC, and Bologna, Italy.
