Gabriella Smith co-founder of The UpCycle Project, a platform that encourages creatives, designers and students to rethink the wastage that is created by the fashion industry through re-using or ‘upcycling’ textiles, will host a panel on the realities of sourcing sustainable materials though different perspectives: Education, Certification and Design. Also including Mario Braghieri, senior design professor at Istituto Marangoni Miami, Monica Escobar-Hertzoff, Senior Manager of compliance and Training for the Worldwide Responsible Accredited production (WRAP), and Sophie Zembra, Founder and CEO of Antidote, a world curated selection of exclusive fashions made with respect, online and in-store.
