As the Director for Global Trade and Business Development at PortMiami, Mr. Olafson develops and oversees business strategies to promote one of the leading container ports in the State of Florida including the promotion of the port’s billion dollar investment in infrastructure. He also heads up efforts to increase bi-lateral trade and develop Neo-Panamax business. In his capacity, he is responsible for administering the port’s Perishables, Transshipment, Air/Sea Cargo, and Foreign Trade Zone 281 initiatives.
