“Pamela Fuertes actively markets Miami-Dade County as a world class business destination to international markets throughout the globe. She collaborates and establishes key partnerships with business, civic and cultural organizations in Miami-Dade County and overseas, seeking to extend and enrichen Miami-Dade County’s presence within key, targeted initiatives. Furthermore, in her capacity as Staff Liaison for the Creative Design Initiative, she promotes Miami’s Creative Design industry and seeks to connect companies of this industry with other members of the business and academic communities. She develops programs designed to help showcase Miami-Dade County’s Creative Design industry.
Pamela joined The Beacon Council as an intern, during her senior year, undergraduate at the University of Miami. Prior to joining The Beacon Council, Pamela represented LanguageSpeak, a full-service language services company. She was also Program Assistant, Sister Cities, Office of Protocol International Trade & Commerce for Miami-Dade County with the office of Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Alex Penelas.”
