TORONTO, Sept 7, 2021 — Apparel Textile Sourcing (ATS) Trade Shows debuts their fifth virtual edition next week, for three days, Sept 14-16, via Zoom and Manufacturer.com. The virtual event directly connects western hemisphere textile and apparel sourcing buyers with internationally-based manufacturers, via Zoom meetings, straight from showrooms or warehouses, from anywhere around the world – including from China, Bangladesh, India, Mongolia, Portugal, Brazil, Haiti, Canada and the USA.
The Apparel Textile Sourcing brand is built on connecting buyers and sellers and on providing top-level content, seminars, and sessions to benefit attendees. The event has the strong industry support from the Americas. In Canada, ATS is partnered with the Canadian Apparel Federation, TFO-Canada, Brands for Canada, and the Canadian Merchandiser. In the United States with the U.S. Fashion Industry Association, Outdoor Industry Association, and Worldwide Responsible Accedited Production. The largest represented exhibiting country will be China. The China Chamber of Commerce for Export of Textiles & Apparel (CCCT) coordinated with the curation the top manufacturers. Hubei Province, featuring 50 manufacturers exhibiting, will hold the largest group-presence at ATS, promoting product categories including apparel, fabric, home textiles, accessories and footwear. Fujian Province will feature 26 manufacturers producig apparel, textiles and accessories. Prime China, featuring nine of China’s top producing branded factories, will produce a fashion show and maintain their own showroom, along with individual live zoom availability.
The Mongolia Wool and Cashmere Association will be represented at the event both on the exhibition floor and also on the seminar stage, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada, Ariunbold Yadmaa, based in Ottawa, will review his country’s three-year MOU with ATS and also will speak with top executives from Mongolian manufacturers, live from Mongolia.
More featured panels and sessions include: Sustainability from the Designers Perspective with Jose Forteza, Vogue and GQ Mexico & Latin America Senior Editor with Conde Nast, Effects of the Pandemic featuring leading Canadian executives from Roots, Brands For Canada, & the Canadian Apparel Federation.
