Apparel Textile Sourcing Trade Shows 2024 Canada Edition Expands to Include Toronto & Montreal

Toronto, February 28, 2024 – The 9th Edition of Canada’s largest apparel and textile expo, Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada, will return to Toronto August 26-28, 2024, at the International Centre. ATSC is also expanding to include a one-day-only Montreal Matchmaking event to be held August 30 at Palais de Congress in downtown Montreal.

In 2023, ATSC witnessed a remarkable surge with 200 manufacturers and over 2,000 attendees at the 3-day sourcing expo and conference, marking a significant 50% year-over-year increase. The growth sparked the decision to expand the event to Montreal this year.

The landscape of Canadian sourcing is evolving, with professionals increasingly focused on diversification strategies. While China remains a dominant production destination with its efficient supply chain and innovation, there is a notable shift towards deleveraging and near-shoring. These dynamics set the stage for an eclectic mix of over 250 factories expected at ATSC this summer, representing countries and regions including Africa, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, Mongolia, Pakistan, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States, Ukraine, Vietnam, and beyond.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Canadian Apparel Federation will partner with ATSC, with Executive Director Bob Kirke delivering his annual “State of the Industry” address. Attendees can expect a comprehensive lineup of keynotes, panels, and workshops covering crucial industry topics such as sourcing, sustainability, trends, fashion, and technology, all directly from the show floor stage. This wealth of knowledge is accessible to sourcing buyers, designers, retailers, executives, professionals, and enthusiasts alike, with complimentary registration for all ATSC events and seminar sessions.

Canadian and international industry partners including Brands for Canada, TESTEX, Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production, and TFO-Canada, along with the Canadian Apparel Federation, will headline the ATSC industry sourcing sessions. Moreover, fashion and design firms V.mora, Fashion Angel Warrior, and Fashion Designers of Latin America will lead engaging workshops, panels and sessions on trends and innovations.

Attendees in 2023 included Canadian brands like Canada Knitwear, Canada Sportswear, Canadian Tire, Gertex, Giant Tiger, Hudson Bay, Jammers, Joe Fresh, Kotn, Loblaws, Unisync, and Walmart Canada, alongside internationally acclaimed companies such as Coppel, Dillard’s, and Li & Fung.
