International Government Roundtable Discussion – China, India, Bangladesh, Canada

Hear government representatives from China, India, and Bangladesh discuss promoting imports from their countries into Canada. Each manufacturing country has it’s benefits and specialties, understanding the perspective and motivation of foreign governments is important for Canadians in the business of sourcing goods from overseas. Members of the panel will include:
– Commercial Affairs Minister Counsellor Xia Xiang of the People’s Republic of China in Canada
– E Defeng Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Consulate-General in Toronto
– Consul General of India Saifullah Khan
– First Secretary (Commercial) High Commission for Bangladesh in Canada Mr. Dewan Mahmudul Haque
– Clay E. Hickson, Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP)— the independent, non-profit global social compliance organization dedicated to promoting safe and ethical manufacturing around the world —will moderate the panel.
