Born in Toronto Canada, Ross Mayer established his namesake brand in 1990. His career in fashion started with the design of private label products for luxury retailer Holt Renfrew and was soon adopted by many more high end merchants and specialty boutiques across the country before launching his own chain of ROSS MAYER brick & mortar retail stores. In 2018 Mayer launched a new and exciting chapter in his design career with the introduction of MAYER a progressive menswear brand focussed on stylish unique pieces lacking in the market. As an entrepreneur Mayer has seen immense change in the fashion industry and is excited to share his journey from launching his brands, opening new markets, building brick & mortar retail and navigating growth through the world of e-commerce and digital marketing today.
