Scott Conant has over 30 years of experience as a merchant and product development leader for world-class retailers in both the department and specialty store sectors. Known for leading high performing teams and building responsive supply chain models in a unified commerce environment.
Having spent the last 9 years with Kohl’s as Vice President, Product Development. He was a front runner in developing diversified and flexible sourcing matrixes in order to meet the needs of growing Digital demand while also satisfying the Brick & Mortar foundation. Scott employs innovative tactics in leveraging lead times out of Central America and fabric platforming out of Vietnam and Bangladesh.
Prior to Kohl’s, Scott was at Macy’s Merchandising Group for 8 years. As Group Vice President, Men’s he leads highly successful brand launches of Alfani Red and Tasso Elba. He was the first at Macy’s to source from Egypt advantaging duty-free opportunities and from Vietnam enabling greater diversification and flexibility.
Earlier, Scott spent 17 years in progressively greater roles of responsibility as a merchant in the specialty store sector. He has extensive experience sourcing from and traveling to Central America, China, India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Scott holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology from Central Michigan University.
