2016 success vaults apparel sourcing event to secure 50% more exhibit space. Canadian retailers, manufacturers, designers and industry executives to attend.
Toronto, ON Canada – December 21, 2016: Apparel Textile Sourcing Canada debuted in 2016 to tremendous success with more than 200 booths of merchandise, and over 1800 attendees. Fueled by positive onsite feedback, strong attendance, and a renewed commitment from international manufacturers and industry partners like TESTEX, WRAP, and TFO Canada, ATSC has officially secured a 50% increase in exhibit space at Toronto’s International Centre, August 21-23, 2017.
The apparel, textile and fashion event is one-of-a-kind in Canada. The show is produced by JP Communications, Inc., North America’s leading publisher of business to business trade platforms TopTenWholesale.com and Manufacturer.com. “Now Canadian companies have the luxury of staying local and avoiding expensive and unnecessary international travel,” said Jason Prescott, CEO of JP Communications. “The event connects Canada to the world of global trade … in Toronto!”
The event is supported in coordination with many Canadian and International partnerships such as the Canadian Apparel Federation (CAF), U.S.-based Fashion Business Inc., and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel (CCCT).
Jiang Hui, Chairman of CCCT said “The uniqueness of Canadian Market is always attractive to Chinese
manufacturers, the successful first edition of ATSC did give us strong confidence to bring more high quality producers in 2017.”
A comprehensive trade show and conference, ATSC 2017 will bring to Canada hundreds of apparel and textile manufacturers from around the world, including China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, the U.S., the U.K., Mexico, Colombia, Peru and many more. Trish Concannon, Executive Director, Fashion Business Inc. said, “ATSC in Toronto had impressive traffic, the seminars were all informative and well attended, and connections with great people were made at ATSC. We look forward to returning again in 2017.”
Pamela Bokser, Sourcing Director for Giant Tiger Limited with over 200 stores in Canada said, “With an event like this now, I’m finally given the option to stay in Canada over traveling to other sourcing events abroad. I loved this show. Canadians support Canada-based shows!”
